2024 NETC Camper Registration

2024 NETC Camper Registration

Registration Requirements of All Campers

The purpose of Teen Camp is to inspire, equip and nurture teen disciples and teens who have indicated a desire to want to know God and mature spiritually. For this reason, we are careful about making sure that those who come to camp are there to learn and grow.

Here are important requirements for each camper before considering if they should attend teen camp.

Every parent and those overseeing the Youth Ministry in each church and region need to be sure these requirements are and will be followed before any teen registers.

We are also asking every parent to go over these requirements before registering their teen and for the teen to verbalize consent to them.

Any teen who does not attend camp should be shepherded by their local ministry to find the best plan for them.

Registration Requirements

·      The teen should be an active participant of the local youth ministry

o   They should be attending the local youth group consistently for at least two months by the deadline of camp registration.

o   Relatives, friends of family or friends of teens who have not been to teen activities should not register. To reach out to them, please invite them to local activities and after they have attended for at least two months they will be eligible.

·      Shows an attitude of respect in church and class settings

o   Respecting the Word of God through listening and not being disruptive

o   Respecting those who teach by being attentive

o   Respecting other teens by not distracting them during these settings

You will have the opportunity to pay all or part of the cost of camp during this registration process. You will receive an e-mail containing confirmation of your registration. All balances must be paid by August 1, 2024.

If there is any chance at all that your teen will go to camp, please register with deposit by June 1st. This includes the following:
  • you don't have enough money right now (work with your church/region and Joe Gattozzi. to arrange registration without deposit.)
  • you don't know your plans for the summer
  • your teen is not interested now, but may become interested by the end of the summer.

You can cancel and receive your money back until August 1st. If you cancel after August 1st but before August 7th, you can receive your money minus the deposit back. If you cancel after August 8th there is no refund (although we will try to provide at least a partial refund if possible).

If your church or region is assisting you with the cost of camp, please contact Joe Gattozzi in the church office for instructions on completing the form. He can be reached by phone during regular office hours at 508-848-2411.

If you need to add or update medical information including medications, insurance or contact information after completion of the form (for instance, international campers may need to add their purchased insurance information), you will be able to. Please save the confirmation email you will receive.

Why the deadlines?  We need to be sure that we have enough counselors, order enough supplies, and assign cabins appropriately.

What if I have indefinite plans for the summer?  Please register if there is any possibility that you will be going to camp.  You will be able to get your money and deposit back as outlined above.

What if I need assistance in making payments? Please work with your local church or region to raise money for camp.

Who is eligible to attend camp?  People who register as campers should be those who regularly attend teen ministry events and activities, or have a special dispensation from their local region or church teen ministry. If you are registering a camper outside of our affiliated congregations in New England or Canada, you must have a reference from your local elder, evangelist or youth minister.  The reference should come by way of a phone call to Phil Arsenault (508-660-2485).  Until this process is completed, no camper outside of our affiliated congregations in New England or Canada will be considered registered.

Where can I get more information about Camp Laurel? You can visit the camp's website at www.camplaurel.com .
