Amazing

God’s plan for marriage is pretty amazing.  Two very different people commit to a lifetime of sharing highs and lows; celebrations and challenges; and often juggle children all at the same time.  Please join us for an inspiring and very practical weekend focused on putting our best into, and getting the most out of, our lives together. Our guest speakers this year are Kevin and Lisa Robbins. Kevin and Lisa became Christians in 1988. They have been married for 30 years and have two daughters and two sons-in-law. They along with their Senior Leadership Team have been leading the Toronto Church of Christ for 20 years. Kevin holds an MDiv from Tyndale University & Seminary. Marriage is one of the Robbins' favorite topics to teach on and they specialize in helping people grow in areas of intimacy, connectivity, and friendship.

As is our practice, Friday night is an open evening to spend with your spouse. The retreat classes will begin at 12:30 pm on Saturday and we will end around 5 pm. There are no planned activities on Saturday night so the entire evening is open to enjoy as you like. Sunday morning we will reconvene at 11 am for our worship service and closing session. The program will end at 1 pm. 

This year we are at the Newport Marriott hotel (25 America's Cup Avenue, Newport RI 02840), which is a beautiful property on the water in Newport and within easy walking distance of all of downtown. The retreat price is $45, which is less than last year, and the room rate is $129/night. Parking and Wi Fi are free. Please note that there is a discounted ($15) valet parking available at the hotel. The free parking is across the street.
