This event is for baptized teen disciples and is a great opportunity for the teen disciples to have a fancy formal experience without the drama, worldliness, and cost often associated with High School Proms.
The event will take place on May 18th from 6:30 pm -10:30 pm at Lombardo's, 6 Billings St Randolph, MA.
There will be dinner, dessert, dancing, and a photographer!
The registration cost is $65.

Q: How much does it cost?
A: Registration costs $65, which includes drinks, dinner, dessert, photographs, and admission. We encourage teens to enjoy the experience without going over the top in other expenses. Wear a suit you already own, wear a dress you’ve worn to a wedding, get a ride from another teen or parent, write a card for your date! This doesn’t have to cost much more than $65!
Q: Do I need to have a date? Who can I bring?
A: You DO NOT need to have a date! In fact, the formal can be incredibly fun and encouraging if you go by yourself. PLEASE do not let this stop you from attending! If you do choose to bring a date, you may bring a DISCIPLE from our family of churches (ICOC Churches). Keeping the formal to all disciples is crucial in creating a spiritually encouraging experience.
Q: Is this the same thing as “TEEN PROM”?
A: While some in the past have referred to this event as TEEN PROM, this is the TEEN DISCIPLES FORMAL. In our culture, prom has many negative connotations: worldliness, drama, expense are a few. We are seeking to create an experience completely separate (set apart) from the PROM experience. We thank you for your support in creating a holy and spiritual experience.
Q: Do I have to go?
A: Teens absolutely are not required to go, and we respect every teen’s decision to attend or not. However, it is a great opportunity for fun, fellowship, and to encourage other brothers and sisters with your presence. Even if you are not overly excited to go, you may consider that you could be an extremely encouraging date or dinner guest at this event. Please consider this before you make your decision about whether to attend or not. Remember, as disciples, we are not living for ourselves, but for Christ.
