2026 NETC Registration Requirements for All Campers
The purpose of Teen Camp is to inspire, equip and nurture teen disciples and teens who have indicated a desire to want to know God and mature spiritually. For this reason, we are careful about assuring that those who come to camp are there to learn and grow.
Here are important requirements for each camper before considering if they should attend teen camp.
Every parent and those overseeing the Youth Ministry in each church and region need to be sure these requirements are and will be followed before any teen registers.
We are also asking every parent to go over these requirements before registering their teen and for the teen to verbalize consent to them. Any teen who does not attend camp should be shepherded by their local ministry to find the best plan for them.
Registration Requirements
- The teen should be an active participant of the local youth ministry.
- They should be attending the local youth group consistently for at least two months by the deadline of camp registration.
- Relatives, friends of family or friends of teens who have not been to teen activities should not register. To reach out to them, please invite them to local activities and after they have attended for at least two months, they will be eligible.
- The teen shows an attitude of respect in church and class settings
- Respecting those who teach by being attentive
- Respecting the Word of God through listening and not being disruptive
- Respecting other teens by not distracting them during these settings
Requirements While at Teen Camp
The requirements below need to be followed by all teens. During camp, those overseeing camp and those who are counselors will assure they are followed.
- Shows an attitude of respect in class, speech and d-group settings
- Attend all scheduled activities
- Adhere to all the rules and expectations
- Shows proper respect to authority, which includes directors of camp, those doing security at camp, medical staff, their cabin leaders, chaperones at camp, Camp Laurel staff and other teens.
- Respecting others' property and the campgrounds
We have a 2-strike approach to discipline. Anyone not willing to obey the rules (demonstrating a clearly unrepentant spirit when asked to comply with the rules) will be given Strike 1. If the behavior or attitude does not change, or occurs again, they will receive Strike 2 and be sent home.
In cases where it is deemed necessary to remove a teen from camp, parents will be contacted and expected to pick up their teen at the camp and transport them home. No refunds will be issued to anyone sent home for disciplinary reasons.
Strikes for behavioral issues:
Strike 1 Offenses
- Breaking curfew (a camper should only be out of their cabin after lights out for one of the following reasons: use of common restroom facilities, visit to the Health Center for care or medication, an emergency situation)
- Obscenity or lewdness
- Disrespect
- Continual disruptive behavior
- Cell phone or other electronic found with camper after first day
- Entering a cabin of the opposite sex
- Wearing inappropriate clothing, wristbands, or the like
Any of the following activities results in immediate expulsion from camp regardless of whether any other warnings or strikes have been given.
Strike 2 Offenses
- Physical fighting
- Possession of drugs, alcohol and any vaping products
- Sexual activity
- Stealing or malicious damage of property
- Leaving Camp Laurel grounds (except in the case of emergency care)
- Any type of hazing consensual or not (subjecting anyone to pranks and humiliating horseplay).
- Bullying or any form of violent behavior whether consensual or not
Thank you for your attention to this and we look forward to another God glorifying Teen Camp in 2026!
