This weekend marriage retreat and Sunday sermon together present a holistic Christian vision of marriage that holds both its practical mechanics and its profound mystery in view. Saturday focuses on the lived practices that help couples build thriving marriages—cultivating shared meaning, truly knowing one another, expressing fondness and admiration, and consistently turning toward one another in love—drawing on Scripture, relationship science, and experiential exercises. Sunday then lifts couples beyond technique into contemplation, exploring marriage as what the apostle Paul calls a “great mystery” (mega mysterion): a divinely given union that reflects the oneness of Christ and the Church. Together, the retreat and sermon invite couples not only to work on their marriages, but to see their marriage as a living revelation of God’s self-giving love, where daily faithfulness, desire, sacrifice, and joy participate in something far larger than themselves.

Instructions

You will register as a couple. When you register the form will ask for your spouse's name and information. One registration per couple.

If you registered for any event or on-line giving then you already have an on-line account. Go ahead and log in to begin registration for the Marriage Retreat. Otherwise, first create an account and then complete the registration. If you are a Boston Church of Christ member, we will tie your account to your member record. For those that are not part of the Boston Church, the account you create will only be used for event registration.
